When did you start?
I started playing back in 2001, when I got my first guitar lesson. I grew up on Christian music like Carman, Rebecca St. James and Third Day, so I had always been inspired to play music from a young age. I’ve been playing for about 12 years now.
What do you hope to achieve through the Kollaboration experience?
I hope to connect with other talented musicians, and hopefully make new friends! I also always want every experience I have to be a growing experience, not only as a musician but also as a person.
On a day off, you can find me…
Working on music. So you’ll find me at home practicing, or out and about looking for new opportunities to play!
People would be surprised to learn that…
I’m big into sports. I grew up playing baseball and went on to play softball until I graduated high school. I still love to play summer co-ed leagues, always an awesome time. I’m wicked competitive.
My biggest inspirations are…
It’s hard to pinpoint what my biggest inspiration is, but I would say real people. People who are unashamed of who they are and flaunt it. So artists that inspire me are artists who are true to themselves, like P!nk, Alanis Morisette, Switchfoot, Paramore…the list goes on.
If I could perform with anybody in the world, it would be…
Probably P!nk, or Adam Levine.
Originally Rhode Island, but I just moved to Chicago, so I’m excited to begin to call this new city home.
Just about everything in the book. I’m Italian, Puerto Rican, Filipino, and Irish.
I will hopefully be playing one of my new tunes with a twist. I am a singer/songwriter.
