Q & A with Ranee Harder
When did you start?
I taught myself how to play guitar at 12 years old. Singing didn’t come until college – one night I was singing Toxic by Britney Spears with my friends around me and they responded with, “hey.. that was pretty good” and I pretty much kept going with it since then.
What do you hope to achieve through the Kollaboration experience?
The opportunity to perform in front of a crowd more often and meet some cool people along the way.
On a day off, you can find me…
Chilling with my guitar and my best friend Erika
People would be surprised to learn that…
One, I played rugby in college. Two, that I hate sweets. And for some reason, three, I love Jimi Hendrix.
My biggest inspirations are…
Dallas Green, Yvette Young, Shakey Graves, TTNG, and of course Mac DeMarco, what a guy.
If I could perform with anybody in the world, it would be…
Probably Shakey Graves or Mac DeMarco, just cause they seem like fun guys to be on a stage with.
