Project Description

Q & A with Sally Moy

When did you start?

I developed my love for singing ever since I was young. (Fun fact: My first CD I ever bought was a That’s So Raven Soundtrack!) For dancing, I just started, so about 2-3 years I believe.

What do you hope to achieve through the Kollaboration experience?

I want to build my connections and expand my performance stage. I also want to collaborate with other talented artists! Hopefully, Kollaboration will jump start the journey I’ve always been dreaming about!

On a day off, you can find me…

Surfing the web for future performance ideas, fangirling about kpop, or hanging out with my dance crew friends! (Shoutout to my homies XII Crew!!)

People would be surprised to learn that…

Can I change the question? People who I’ve just met would be surprised to learn that… I have a big appetite. People who know me would say that I have a blackhole as a stomach. Not ashamed! (Laughs)

My biggest inspirations are…

Definitely have to be Demi Lovato! I been a big fan of her since I was little! She’s the reason why I love to sing. Another inspiration would be Ailee. She inspires me to broaden my dynamics. For dancing, Ian Eastwood is always so passionate about his choreography. It’s pretty cool that he’s from Chicago too! I aspire to work just as hard as him!  And lastly, another big inspiration would be EXO.  Even though they’ve only been in the music scene for a little less than 3 years, not only do I fangirl a lot over them, but they’ve inspired me so much in working hard and sparking my interest in dancing.

If I could perform with anybody in the world, it would be…

The people I mentioned for my biggest inspirations! Wow, that would be pretty awesome!  It would also be cool to perform with the girl group 2NE1 or G-Dragon from Big Bang.

I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but I consider my hometown to be Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. I also consider my second hometown to be Chicago!
